We need to consider many factors when choosing a specific type of overnight bag or carryon bag. We may use this bag for many different occasions and reasons.  One may decide to take it along on the plane containing a tooth brush, a magazine, an IPOD or even a small laptop.  One usually takes along a backpack for a hiking trip in the mountains, a weekend at a friend's place, or simply brings it to work with your gym clothes inside or a clean shirt for that night out with the girls or boys.  

             Next we need to establish a budget because that always has an impact on the quality of the duffel bag.  Quality is sometimes impacted on the amount of money we are willing to spend for any article.  When we are looking for durability leather is an excellent choice.   It is a breathable material with a proven track record.  We now have available on the market some materials that look like leather and that feel like leather and we have to admit that they are good quality and of durable material.  This new material is comparable in price with genuine leather.

             Someone else may be more comfortable choosing a fabric such as canvas or nylon material.   If this is your choice you need to remember to make certain that the bag is water-resistant.  It is annoying to get caught in the rain with a bag that is not water-resistant; it happened to me once.  I had gone to visit a friend and it got late. When I got off the train I could not for the life of me find a place that was open. I looked for a taxi and none were available, so I thought I would start heading towards town.  What happened next is that it started to rain.  I felt as if I was in the middle of a monsoon!   I was soaked within a matter of seconds and so was all of my clothing inside my fabric duffel bag.  Now was not the time to discover that it was NOT water resistant.   Boy oh boy oh boy!!  Was I upset...?  So remember look for the water-resistant tag on the label inside the bag.

                I don't think that the color is an important factors other than we definitely need to like it and it has to appeal to us.   It doesn't need to match any outfit, as I believe that it makes more of a statement on its own.   Keep in mind that the size is a very important aspect; you need to put all of your gear in this bag.  Some duffel bags or overnight bags offer some type of expansion capability and this is a good feature to look for, especially if you are going to visit someone or plan a shopping trip.   You will have room to put your purchased items as well as all your other incidentals.   The material used to make the bag has an impact on the weight of the article.   Leather is probably going to be the heaviest especially if it is made of thicker and durable leather.  The vegan leather allows for a lighter material. It is water -resistant and very durable and there is really good quality vegan leather out on the market.  This is an excellent choice.

                   The main thing is to recognize the use for which you are contemplating purchasing any type of duffel or backpack.  Consider your budget, the intended purpose of this bag and your personal style or way of life will play a role in your decision. All these factors need to be taken into consideration in order to make an informed choice.  Your goal is to have this item last you for a very long time.  In conclusion weather you are looking for an overnight bag or a duffel bag you need to remember to take your time in choosing this item should have ..."   In my opinion you should find the one that's right for you. It will be to your benefit and in the long run you will not be saying "I should have"
